RIVER TRAIL MANAGEMENT PLAN

Many users of the River Trail and the associated Still River Greenway are volunteering to assist with the development of these recreational resources. To coordinate efforts, an overall Greenway and River Trail Management Plan was approved by area mayors and first selectmen in September of 2006.

Supporting the Management Plan are the following five detailed geographic plans in which municipal and volunteer contributions are recognized:

  1. Plan for Still River in Danbury
  2. Plan for Still River in Brookfield
  3. Plan for Still River in New Milford
  4. Plan for Housatonic River thru New Milford
  5. Plan for Housatonic River from Bridgewater to Monroe
